A card for your door, and one for your wallet
Print one page for your front door and one for your pocket. Each carries a code. Anyone who scans it sees what your animals eat, their medicines and their vet — on a plain page, with nothing to install and no password to work out.
The ASPCA has recommended a rescue alert sticker for years: the types and number of pets in your home, and your vet's number, by the front door. Doggy prints one. The vet's number sits behind the code rather than on the door, because a front door is read by everybody who walks past it.

What the person who comes actually sees
They never installed anything. They get an email, they tap a link, and they read one page: who your animals are, what they eat, which medicine and when, and the vet who knows them.
That is the whole product. Everything the app does before that moment is preparation for that page loading on a stranger's phone.

What we know about you, and what we do not
- Dictation is turned into text on your phone. Your words are not sent anywhere.
- Photographs of your animals stay on your device. They are not uploaded.
- The link behind the code carries a random token and is published nowhere.
- Anything you write about getting into your home is held behind a separate check and can never be reached from the printed code.
- Your contact can be removed by replying to any email we send them.

- Is Doggy free?
- The daily check-in, the reminders, everything you write about your animals, and both an email and a text message to your contact if you miss a day are free, with no time limit and no card. The phone call to your contact and the printable card are the paid part.
- What happens if I miss a check-in?
- We wait — an hour by default — and ring you first. Most missed check-ins are a forgotten tap. If that changes nothing, the person you chose gets an email and a text message with a link to your animals' instructions.
- Do I need any equipment?
- No. Nothing to wear, nothing to charge, nothing to install in the house. It is an app on the phone you already have.
- What if I do not have a printer?
- Send the card to somebody who does. Most people send it to a son or daughter, or save it and print it somewhere else.
- Can anyone who scans the code see my address?
- No. The page behind the code shows your animals and nothing about you or your home. It never shows your address, your telephone number, or how to get in.
- I have cats, not a dog.
- Doggy works for any animal — cats, birds, rabbits. The name is just the name.
- What if I am away for a few days?
- Check-ins can be paused, and nobody is told.
Nobody should have to wonder who would feed them.
